So, I am still trying to get caught up...here is the rest of our Austin/ "Tour of Texas" trip from early July...yes, I am REALLY behind! :)
Friday morning, the boys and I left for Castroville to visit Mike, Shannon, the girls and JW. It was a fun visit, as always. We took the kids to Concan for a fun afternoon in the river...the boys first time there and mine in a LONG time. The river was really low, but perfect for splashing and playing (especially the babies). We spent the evening relaxing and visiting. Saturday, Mike took the big kids to the golf course...which Carson loved. Then we spent some time touring Castroville...seeing their land they are about to begin building on, the kid's schools, fun shops, etc...just an all around enjoyable visit...too short, but fun! The good news is that they (Shannon and kids) are coming up tomorrow and brining Carson home from Yaya and Grumpy's, so we will get in one more visit before the madness of school begins!
