Every year the Frisco ISD librarians put together and host Frisco Reads!...a fun event to get families and kids excited about reading. This year they had many guest authors there to meet the kids and sign books. Among them was Jarrett Krosoczka. This is the same author who visited Carson's school last week, that he got SO excited about. So, Carson and I headed up to Liberty H.S. near our house and enjoyed this fun event. Scholastic Book Fair was there with tons of books to buy, including some of Jarrett's. I let Carson pick out a book for him...PunkFarm...and a book for Collier...Goodnight Monkey Boy. Super cute books. We stood in line to meet Jarrett and got them signed. He was a very nice guy. Carson told him that he was writing a book of his own and Jarrett was very encouraging. While we were standing in line, one of the broadcast journalism students from Centennial H.S. came over and asked if they could interview Carson and I for their school's television station. So, we are gonna be stars! :) They said they would post the link when it was on-line and ready for viewing...stay tuned!

Carson got to meet the special author again. The wreath still looks
fantastic...need to get something up at my house. And the little "monkey" continues to entertain!
